Thinking or even attempting to assume that the world was a better place before Covid-19 would be hypocritical. Not that it’s become suddenly utopian or dystopian now, it’s to do with many questionable activities the humans indulged in in the name of advancement, technology, innovation, education, globalization, and much more. Humans - we, lost sight of our purpose on this blessed earth. One such metrics to contribute to statistical filtrations of us were the deplorable examinations conducted at almost all levels of the education system.
The idea that these metrics were to be used stemmed out of competition and demand. These examinations conducted by the academicians all over the world contributed to blind hustling of children and parents alike to pursue the unattainable carrot hung at the end of the string tied to their own back. However, not only the concept was faulty, the whole society relied deeply on this erroneous subjugation of talent / passion to just data and numbers, not taking into account that however one might try, certain aspects cannot be quantified.
Nevertheless and not to go unnoticed, very few actionable steps were taken that could recognize the buoyant energy a child eludes and even little was done to sustain that little world for the child. All came to a grinding halt thanks to the Corona Virus and its ominous take on this world full of people, a majority being sheep.
